I'm Sami but you can also call me Rocketcatt or just Rocket if that's easier to remember!
My story here starts in 2018, when I first found Stray Kids, I fell so quickly down the rabbit hole of being a STAY (though at that time we weren't even called STAY yet haha) It almost feels like a whirlwind for the next 2 years but I gained so much from them. A community of people and fans that all had a common love, new friends from all over the world, an excuse to travel, and more music and content than I knew what to do with!
My shop opened in October 2020 after spending the last 6 months working on getting my first useable mold. My original insert for the Nachimbong broke at a concert and I had some extra time on my hands after getting laid off my job of 4 years. So there was a lot of trial and error, a lot of failed attempts, and my family can attest there was a LOT of mess haha. But eventually it worked out. Mind you they still weren't GOOD at that point but they were useable haha.
At the time of opening I was the First and ONLY insert maker on the market. My first shop release had maybe 25-30 inserts that took me MONTHS to make on top of working my full time 'human' job. I received so much love and support at that time I was absolutely in awe.
Fast forward now 3 years and a LOT has changed. What started as a small little thing out of my living room in Colorado has grown further than I ever expected. I have been able to quit my full time job, move to California, make a designated workshop, collaborate with some of my favorite shops, attend in person events all over the state. I've made over 1500+ inserts, added so many new products and designs, and shipped items all over the world. It's still a one woman show around here but I couldn't be prouder of the growth I've seen in myself and in my business.
